I had a lovely stay at The DeSoto hotel, where the staff was incredibly helpful and the location was perfect for exploring Savannah. The amenities, including the pool area and room service, were great features that added to the experience. However, I did encounter some issues with the room temperature being too warm at night and limited TV channels, which was a bit of a letdown.
The DeSoto has a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Savannah on foot. Unfortunately, the condition of the rooms does not match the hotel's reputation, with issues ranging from cleanliness to outdated amenities. The service was inconsistent, which diminished the overall experience. While the dining options were commendable, the hotel's management needs to address significant maintenance and cleanliness concerns.
